Default What will i need to make this fit on my 99 ej8?

Well i got a free 14mm rear sway bar off a teg(correct me if i'm wrong about the size) from my uncle for xmas haha. It comes with no bolts but does come with some brackets. I know it will bolt up to my 99 EJ8, but i wanted to know how much is it going to cost me. Basically what things will i have to buy to make it bolt up to my chassis? I know having something down there is better than having nothing, but if its going to cost me a more than $50 then i'll wait on it. Thx

this is what i have...
sorry about the shoes haha

you will only need the endlinks off a 99-00 civic Si. They go for around $50

carefull with teg sway bars on civics... almost ALL itr bars that i hear of on civics end in problems.. and eran had this bar (14mm gsr) bar on his civic and ended up bending the endlinks.. granted his install was a little custom.. but since most of the DC stuff tends to fit the EG and EG stuff does not really fit EK stuff.. id be apprehensive to use that...

BUT as stated if you did want to use it all you need are SI endlinks..

not sure where oc_civic got his info from, but you should be fine...

si endlinks or better yet...blox or function7 endlinks would work as well...

you dont have to worry about subframe tearout either since your only using the 14mm swaybar, but if you go any bigger then 19mm, i would advice in getting the asr subframe reinforcement...

on another note...

hows that cluster doing?

My endlink bent because I changed the overall geometry of the swaybar install. It had nothing to do with the bar itself.

although i agree with everything you said.. it APPEARS that every time someone is bitching about a sway bar honda problem it is either a huge bar OR a teg bar.... as i stated there is NO concrete evidence to support all teg bars being a problem... i was simply warning that in my experience... teg bars appear to be problematic on a lot of ek hondas... so it was just a word of caution..
