Default How hard is it to install springs....

What special tools will I need? I know I need a spring compressor, but if I remember correctly there are two different types, which do I use? How long of an install is this for a competent first-timer? What problems will I run into? I've got a factory Helms, but it's geared more toward a technician than a enthusiast. I hope you guys that have done this before can help me out. Thanks.

The only special tool you will need is the compressor. Job goes a lot faster if you have air compressor tools as well. You'll need a 14mm 17mm 12mm and 10mm sockets and a another 17mm open end or socket. Everything is pretty straigh forward. I can do an entire car in about 2 hours. For a first timer look at maybe 4~6 hrs. Good luck.

pick up a honda manual for your car, it explains in detail how to install springs. if you can follow directions and have proper tools, you can install springs.

Just go to a big auto-parts place and rent the spring compressor, it's free to rent one at the place near my house!
