Default Rim sizing help

I'm thinking about getting a set of Work Emotion CR KAI's for my JDM sedan. I'm going for 18" and i do plan on dropping the car a bit. Not too much though, the roads are really rough around here, so maybe 1.5 inches or so?

so would 18" x 7.5J work well without rubbing or bottoming out? What offset?
and I'm assuming 225/40/R18 tires would bode well?

Thanks for the help in advance!

With a 1.5% drop you might bottom out on your fender if you take a bumpy turn, but other than that you should be fine. Just take the turn as straight as possible, turning the wheel after the bump if you can and you'll be fine.

He may have.... but if he didn't it'd be a reasonable drop with 19's or 20's on your ride....
