I pay $960 a year. Age and if your married or not really matters with insurance. I;m 23 and not married so the not married costs me more. Lucally I have been sick for the last 2 years and that cleared my driving record. But I was at like 4120 with 1 moving violation.

I payed $310 a month when I first got the car at 18 and had a really bad driving record.

Hope that helps.

American Family. If you add renters insurance its like $11 and takes like 20% off your insurance even if you don't rent.

Is your car salvaged? Did you ask about/for all the discounts?

ah, the perks of getting older..... i pay under $2000 a year for 3 vehicles: 06' titan full coverage, 99' si full coverage, and a 94 toyota pickup.

but, i was in the same boat as you guys a decade ago. my advice is to shop around. i went with a brand new startup company, progressive, back in 1993, and they had the cheapest rates. progressive blew up, as did their rates. so, a few years ago i switched to another smaller insurance company and cut my premiums nearly in half again.

also, if you have full coverage on a certainb vehicle of value, you may want to pick up another car, as a beater. then, you can insure the beater as your primary, and have the other car your pleasure vehicle.

at one point, i bought a new tacoma w/ full coverage, but i had a 86 crx as my primary. if i removed the crx from the policy, my insurance went up $700. so, even if the car blew up, i would have kept it on the road.

i believe it also matters on the location you live at....and since i noticed you from cali...thieves is most likely the reason for your insurance to be way up there..

I pay about 2400 a year, but I have full coverage on my 2000 EM1 and my wife's 96 Accord. I have a 92 Chevy S10 and house insurance too. That equates to about 200 a month and I have an accident, speeding ticket, moving violation and a stolen car on my record. 28 and married

Wow, some very high prices in here.

I pay $312 every six months, $52 a month for full coverage.
I pay $228 every six months, $38 a month for full coverage on my Xterra.
Homeowners is $460 every year.

I do get a multiple car discount, multiple account discount, good driver discount, and a firefighter discount.

Hey, I am new here but i have been reading for about a year now and just never got a account... Anyways. I pay 189 a month for full on my Si. I have 3 points left on my SCDL. which in itself says i have a moving violation or two. you know **** like 65 in a 45 or disregarding a stop light(<But is was 3 in the morning) I use Bristol West which is like what that other guy was saying get a bullshit company. 189 still sounds high but i was paying 410 a month with less tickets and it wasn't full coverage (like only 5 points on my DL) So do what i did get a phone book and start calling till you hear something you like.

be careful with getting cheap insurance. check the plan to the fullest. I had a 2000 civic DX stolen from me in July of this year and I had about 2500 bucks in upgrades to it. my insurance company paid me off for a stock DX civic since I didn't have added coverage on the extra items. didn't matter if I had receipts and pictures to show what was in the car. This was Mercury insurance that I had

$32 a month or so, I love being older and having a clean record. I pay 1100 a year for a 99 SI, 06 WRX, and 04 Ranger 4x4 all full coverage.
