Default LS swap into an EK coupe

Yea okay so im swapping an LS into my EK coupe and was told that i might not be able to have power steering, if so i need to know:

-the pros and cons of manual steering
-if its actually possible to run power steering
-and if so how hard would it be

thanks in advance for any help HT gives me...

you can have PS in it...but it really isnt much difference with or without...only difference is when you try to turn the wheel at a very slow speed...anything under 5mph...just take out the power steering...you'll get use to it...

Perfect answer.

1. There is NO reason you cannot carry the LS's power steering pump, and add it to your Civic. So yes..you can keep power steering.

2. Its all preference. Some people actually prefer to not have it. Above say 15-20mph you can honestly not tell the difference whether you have PS or not. The only time its a pain in the *** is if you have a 5spd and you're parallel parking...but on the bright side, you'll get a work out As B18Civic Eg said...its only a pain at really low speeds, and even then its nothing to worry about.

Ive driven a CRX without power steering and I didn't even know until after I drove it that CRX's didnt have power steering. I seriously had no idea.

yea thats what i kinda figured and i heard that you have more control over your car...the steerings not as loose....but thanks bud i appreciate it
