Default Alternator Question.

Tonight driving home one of my idiot lights came on. It was the one with the battery, meaning it isn't being charged. As soon as I saw it I checked the alternator belt, it was fine. Is there anything other than the alternator its self that could be the problem?

It could possibly be the battery, but I wouldnt bet on it. I think your gonna have to replace your alternator.

I picked one up a while back, assuming your d series, mine was $156 and some change, but I got a 40 bucks back from the core charge.

Yeah, super easy on a d series, I have never owned a b series so I couldnt tell ya how hard they are to change, but I wouldnt think it would be much different.
