I am having a little issue with my windshield washers. For some reason, the fluid is not pumping out. The motor runs, the washer reservoir is full, but nothing comes out. I tried tracing the hoses, but I could not even find them. I checked the sprayers to see if, by chance, some wax or something got in them, but they look clear.
Anyone got any idea's? I don't mind taking it to the dealer but if it's something stupid, I would just as soon fix it myself. Taking it to the dealer always ends up being a time sink.
Thanks in advance

Its kind of "common" for the washer nozzles to clog, we replace them pretty frequently at my dealership... sounds like thats your problem but a trip to the dealership may be your best bet unfortunantley
unhook one of the hoses from the bottom side of the squiters (might need to pop it loose 1st) and see if fluid comes out of the hose when you activate the motor.
The problem is probably cheap washer fluid caking on the nozzles. If you look in the opening of the bottle and see blue stains then you are using cheap quality fluid

Thanks for all the advise. I will take another look at the system and check to see if the fluid is coming through the hose (if I can figure that out). If I can't find anything I will hit the dealer on Saturday.
Thanks again for the responses.
As for any "male" issues. Viagra takes care of any issues that might come up (or not).

maybe because you're not the only there besides other 40 vehicles there that will have to be worked on. just a thought.

not sure where Santa Clara, Ca is but maybe your washer fluid is frozen in the lines. my old dealership used to mix their washer fluid concentrate with too much water and it would end up freezing in the customers cars. but then again, when i think of cali, its mostly above freezing.
best bet, is to go to the dealership.
