I was considering on gettin my usdm h22 tanny rebuilt, and i was wondering on what final drive to go with cause i want something a lil better than stock but yet good enough for a daily driver and interstate use... And if you all can help me out around how much should this cost me??? thanks for the help

 

All new synchro sets from a discount Honda supplier like Majestic will run you about $600. That's what I spent on new synchros for my transmission.

I have a brand new, never used, MFactory 4.64 Final Drive gearset that I might be interested in selling if you're looking for something. It's not as radical of a change as my 4.714 (which is what I'm using in my track car). It would probably work fine in a street car. I'd be a little leery running a 4.714 in a street car, but even then it would probably be ok.

 

the Mfactory kit would be good for the street. You can always switch out 5th gear with that of an H23 tranny to lower the rmp at highway speeds.

Well as of now im a little short on money, i was just curious to get ideas on what to go with and see how much it would cost. But as soon as i get some extra cash ill let you know whats up if you still have the kit then
