Default look what i picked up...

ok so ive been on this site every so often and ususally i just read the threads and what not. i jsut recently purchased a new car after my old one was stolen. i like the civic even though its slow as *** and its not my old car but hey, what are you gonna do. i got the car for a good deal and the color seems to be growing on me ever time i see it. i plan to drop the car(duh its 4x4ing right now) and get some rims. im really stuck on what type of rim, and color, i want to put on the car that will really POP on the greenish blue color and look nice, i also dont see my color around to much so its hard to gauge or use soemthign as a refrence. so iguess my question to you guys is in your opinion what color/rim do you think will really look nice. i def dont want to go black. ive seen white with this color and i thought that was pretty nice, i was thinking about the track r's in white but i dont know if there gonna look that nice maybe a another rim in white that might be a nicer design.. any ideas would be great. oh by the way im going to be autcrossing it this season so if anyone knows of some good entry level type of light weight rim that would be cool too.

Since you dont want black i would say just the normal alloy(silver) IMO. But I bet alot of other people on here have some pics of there cars with different colors rims other than silver and black.

and befor you start throwing stuff on your ride...you should secure it first and you should know since the previous one was stolen...if you like the Track R's by Rota, i think the silver one's would look sick on your ride after the drop..

How high did you pick it up? Over your head?

=================================

I'm not gonna bother reporting this but next time wanna try throwing this **** in the right forum as this has NO technical value what-so-ever except the fact that it is INDEED a car.

GDD, GT, or Appearance/Cosmetics.

Wow....car is REALLY clean man!

I'd say on that color the following wheel colors look VERY nice...in the order that I prefer them personally...

1. White
2. Black
3. Polished
4. Dark Bronze

Good luck man! And I think those Rota Track R's look very nice....the white ones will set your car off VERY well.

I'll tell you what, since I'm all perc'd up I'll search for some Teal Civics with aftermarket wheels, and post up some ones I think look nice so you can get a feel for what color combos look good with your exterior color....get ready for some pictures! I hope these help out your decision man....sorry for posting so many pics but I wanted to give you an idea on what different colors look like on your car. I personally think you have a GREAT color platform to work from.

wow, thanks for all the replies so far and all the comments on my car. it took me awhile to find something clean so im glad its noticed. i like the way the track r's look with those teal/green lug nuts. the polished lip on em tho? what you think if i brought them to a powdercoated and jsut did the lip in white or another color. also im curoius what kind of rims are these they remind me of buddy club for some reason. what kind are they?
also these wheels are real nice but ive got a feeling that they will seriously break the bank purchasing them anyone make somethign similar?

I really liked those bronze ones. They look good, and you could always buy some teal lug nuts.

Those white ones you quoted LOOK like Advan RG's, Volk Gram Lites, or the knock off....Rota Attack. Although Rota only makes the Attack in 15" and 17"...I think they look beautiful.

Here's a picture of the Rota Attacks that I got from http://www.machiii.net, which is also a great place to purchase wheels from...and they carry Rotas' full line, along with Volk, Advan, etc...

As B18CivicEG said...these are the Rota Circuit 10's. They come 15",16",17".. in the following colors...

Silver
Bronze (more goldish)
Black
Gunmetal
Steel Gray
White
Classic White (?)
Sports Bronze (darker bronze)

Here's the pic from machiii.net but if you search Honda-Tech for these wheels you'll get A LOAD of results and pictures...
