I was wondering which engine is better for boost non vtec or vtec h22 or h23 some people tell me the non vtec is better for boost because its a bigger block and it has less compression but i figured since the h22 has 200hp adding turbo will make it faster than 160hp non-vtec

 

use the f22 since it has iron sleeves, put some forged pistons in there, and boost. Read the faq, it'll answer your questions... then ask what you don't understand

The H22 will produce more whp if you use the same turbo. But the H23 will handle boost better because of the lower compression and the tranny is also a little bit better.

remember faster is not always better
