98 DX idle/IACV problem
Well ive been battling a extremely annoying idle prob for the past month or so. I start the car revs shoot up to 2300rpms thne go down to 1400 then go back up to 1800 kinda bounces a round a bit ten settles around 1700. Then is i put a load on it itll rev up to 2100 rpm and just chill there. I replaces the IACV bled the coolant messed with the idle screw and the FICV. So i decided to plug up the IACV hole in the TB and what do you no, beautiful idle at 750 RPM's. I have no AC or PS, is there any downside to pluging the IACV and just running at a 750-850 idle? Or what else could my problem be?
