Default Yet Another Problem Axles (B Series Swap)

So I Got The Axles That Came With My B16A1 SiR1 VTEC and we were putting them on, but it seems that when we put em on. They end up pushing against the backside of the wheel. like rubbin against some metal, n it prevents the wheel from spinning. they're like 1 1/2 inches longer then my stock Si axles. Are they just not the right axles for my 89? or Is there somethin else to it? This ******* whole swap is a nightmare, but Im not giving up. this is MY first car, like MY name on the pink slip, n i pay everything, so I dont wanna give up on my first real car. This is my baby. plz help! lol thnx guys, you're all awesome

are they all the way in the tranny... there should be a clip that goes oin the end that goes in the tranny and there should be like a click ... is this happening? if not its not in all the way thats why is rubbing... or you have the wrong axles

Wouldnt you be able to take your old axles to automotive store and just get the right length from them?? like get a smaller axle in length
