D16Z6 TIMING BELT PART #???

part number is correct. its the old part number... the new number is 14400-P28-004 and both belts fit your engine aswell as other 96-00 civics.

but a d16z6 isnt a Y motor. so the p2e belt wont work, the p28 belt is correct.

p2e is the exactly the same belt as the p28... just p28 is used overall now. alot of parts will have different part numbers for different cars yet be exactly the same part. both belts will work on the d16 aswell as the y8 engines.
its kinda like using an early integra 40/40 proportioning valve its the same exact part as a 94+ integra 40/40 proportioning valve just with a different mounting bracket, and both have different part numbers aswell.
like im sure for the gsr rear brakes and an 92-95 si rear brakes.. same thing different part numbers.
and lastly the main relay on all 92-00 civics, and 94-00 integras are all the same all with different part numbers.
