Default worn clutch?

my car has ~180k miles. stock b7 and dx tranny. clutch may or may not be original. my clutch seems to be worn, it doesnt grab very hard and it seems kinda spongy. the pedal feel is fine, it just seem to catch really weak. it does not slip at all. is this what happens when clutches get old?

jw, i already have a new exedy and a y8 tranny to put in when spring comes.

try bleeding the slave cylinder. that may help. but when it seems like ur grabbing blows..usually that means ur clutch is giving.

and for the exedy in the y8. drive ur car til the clutch completly gives, in my opinion it would be a waste of money to get a clutch kit if u already have a brand new one in a different tranny.
