WEll.. I just put a SOHC Vtec head and convereted mycar to MPFI.. I matched all my cavvume hose to my frineds same year, 90 hatch back.His car runs fine.. No problems at all.. However, when I try to start this one, the car wont start unless you cover the throttle body.. THen, it barly starts and you have no control over the idle...


Anyone have this happend before?

 

so if you start it without covering the throttlebody it will just rev up high on its own? if so that sounds like a leaking throttle body to intake manifold gasket.

 

I just put a brand new intake mani gasket on it.. The TB gasket may be shot.. if I dont cover the TB up, the car wont start.... If I do cover it up, it runs, but shitty.
