Default quiestest muffler

i tried some searches and couldnt find the info that i needed. what do you all think is the quietest muffler? i am leaning towards an OEM muffler look but am open to whatever. i heard the apexi ws2 is pretty quiet.

and yes i tried the faq. hearing exaust sounds doesnt really help me for quietness, it does for sound though.

Yes I agree with Apexi WS2 as being very quiet, also almost every magnaflow muffler I have heard to be very quiet, My friend on his 97 eclipse has a bosal brospeed exhaust and its pretty quiet too, has a little growl to it.

I have a Thermal on my Accord and I have to be honest It's on the loud side especially after having it after 2 years (lots of cabin noise in rear seats)

I don't know if I would call a straight-through Magna-flow "quiet".

I agree with Typhoon, i have an oval body magnaflow and it is not very quiet at all. I am even running the street series, i would hate to know how loud the race series is.

I had the Tanabe Medallion Racing and you could barely tell that the car was on if you had the silencer in.

RS*R ex-meg I have on my car and it is no louder the stock in side the car. If you can find one this is the one to get. I believe it was discontinued back in 06/06. I could be wrong on the date.

apexi WS (either version)

great exhaust, very quiet. i had a magnaflow and it made me want to kill myself. i refused to have anything else besides a stock one (i HATE LOUD), until i got a worldsport.

I've got 2.25" cat back w/ a resonator and a Magnaflow muffler. After 3,000RPM is when it gets noticable.

was yours a custom job with magnaflow stuff, or you order it online, also i wanna ask if you have a header or aftermarket cat or anything like that in there that would make it louder

right now (and ever since i heard my buddies STi with magnaflow) i am lookin at the magnaflow catback also for my 00' EX-L sedan accord F23, notonly that but 3250RPM is about as high as i rev in first gear normally, then like 2250 or less after that (auto trans)

the WS2 all the way...or an RSR xmag or whatever.

I have the WS2 on my car and my buddy has the RSR...both really quite. Mine is a little louder than stock where the RSR is pretty much same as stock. WE both have H22 swap now too.

i also heard apexi WS is the quietest around, but neve rheard one personally. i have heard a greddy SP on a inetgra before and it is very quiet, at idle it isnt very noticeable and during light throttle it does have a distinct tuned sound, but nothing too loud. my friend with a bmw 325 has 2.5in piping with a maganaflow resonator and oval style muffler w/ cat and it is very quiet. during idle and light throttle you can barely tell it has a aftermakret muffler.

heres a cheap *** place to get part at (including magnaflow) http://www.autopartswarehouse.com

youy have to call to get the price, but thats just on magnaflow ****, theyre npo0t allowed to show the realprice cuz magnaflow complained or something idk, but check it out

I have Magnaflow cat back on my 98 and I can't stand it anymore. Once spring comes around its getting ditched for a thermal, dc tcs, buddy club, or custom

Completely custom. Waiting for more funds to make it a bolt on affair...(adding flanges later on...)

Also waiting for more funds to allow me to get DC Sports headers and a Catco or Carsound high flow cat converter.....so I only have an AEM 1pc CAI and the exhaust cat back...nothing else in terms of power adds.
