not really technically related... bad idea. A stock 06 Type-S will outrun a Stock Si.

Driver's race indeed. I raced one stock to stock a while back and slowly walked away. And i'm no toothpick either.

You should probably post this in "Kill Stories" of this forum.

Correction. Don't post this in kill stories. You'll just get flamed hardcore. They're more interested in actual stories and not questions.

RSX's seem to want to race, and people with those damn SE-R's think they are the fastest car in the world..We had a RSX type-s on my lot..and I raced it against another salesman who has a built hatch, who knows how to run em, and I got em by about a half a car or so..maybe more..but i've also raced one with e/h/i..and got him..but he used the ole speakers in the trunk thing...lol..I haven't lost to anyone except a 350z that i've raced..but no one really wants to run..and I don't really go out looking for it..just usually people that rev on me Can't stand that...

I thought they were pretty much the same motor. What's the difference between the motors anyway.??

That's all relative. Theirs have MAP and no E-throttle (DBW) Ours have MAF and DBW, the way I understand it, and there are a few other minor things as well.

06 rsx-s has more power. and when racing... rsx seems to pull harder in 3rd gear and thats when i watch the guy drive right past me. we were both floored, but he kept moving in front. he has i/h/e, torque dampner, carbon fiber hood, better tires, short shifter, and a few other goodies he didnt wanna mention. so i dont know if that meant something along the lines of a 50 shot or what, but in 3rd i had to watch him creep right along me and then past me.

Very curious as to why you would call yourself "originalg00kster"?
I'm pretty sure if you were actually called that, you wouldn't be happy about it Then again, maybe you have no idea the meaning behind it....
I guess you had to join H-T by '05 to understand the meaning of a g00k.....but then again, that's coming from an "06'r"....

****
(U.S. military slang) A misunderstood word thought to be derogatory by American troops in the Korean War that was derived from the words “han****” and “mi****”. “Han****” refers to Korea[35] [36] and “mi****” is the common word for America.[37] American troops misinterpreted "mi****" (sounds like "me ****") as an assertion of "I am a ****". During the Vietnam War, it was mistakenly labeled to the Vietnamese people who also have a similar word “han quốc” which means country. Popularized to include any `Mongoloid' Asian after its widespread use during the War. Like *****, extremely offensive.

Now that's the internet definition. If you need more explanation, just IM me......

I traded a 05 RSX-S for my 07 Si sedan(baby comin in 1.5 months) and I can honestly say they feel exactly the same to me. Only difference is in the turns. The Si has a better sorted suspension and the limited slip diff makes a world of difference.

i've beaten any and every RSX thats challenged me! i despise those cars! but on the real not that much differce between the 03 type-s to the 06 bus u guys are right it is a drivers race but for me even if the RSX had a better start My Si would catch up and eventually pull away! i win in the 1/4 mile not by much but a win is a win right! Si all the way!my record Si-eleven RSX-zip and thats the truth!
