cluster and climate control lights work till car warms up?
just bought an eg and i noticed my cluster and climate control lights stay on but when the car warms up the lights go out.i also notice sometimes my speedometer needle jumps somtimes when im driving..anybody have the same problem or if someone could help me that would be great.thanks guys in advance
Is there a chance that the "warming up" part is a coincidence and the bulbs are loose? So when you're driving around (car is warmed up by then), you're hitting a bump and the lights are going out?
I say this because it's happened to me. When I started the car, my Si cluster worked fine but after I drove a bit the lights would go out. I replaced the bulb and made sure it was secure..and things have been good.

I see, thats weird man.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I'm definitely interested in seeing exactly what is causing the problems. I wish you luck figuring it out, and please keep this thread updated when you can.

I believe the Vehicle Speed Sensor is located on the transmission housing. I'm not certain though. If he does not respond to the thread soon, PM B18CivicEG and he should know the answer.

My speedo suffered the same erratic behaviour for quite a few years - usually on long journeys. It has now ceased working altogether. Could this be a faulty connection or is it more likely the VSS has now taken a turn for the worse? It's throwing an ECU code too (17). I remember a Honda bulletin being issued about the engine wire harness rubbing on the intake manifold bracket so I may check this out too...

code 17 is for your VSS.
check if its plugged correctly or try a new VSS....
