If you look around in here man, you will see that's a pretty common and solid setup. I would just make sure if I was using a DC header it was the JDM R version so it will have a 2.5 collector, you will be pretty satisfied I think. Just check out the dyno thread and you will see what others have made with very similar to let you guess until you get it built and on the dyno.

The p30 stock rod thing won't work with ls rods. the ls rod's small ends are too thick for vtec pistons.

well the intake mani is coming with the head, so thats why im getting that.

the reason i like the fidanza flywheel is because it only weighs 8lbs. i used to have one.
but i sold it to my friend to put in his all motor ls setup, and he loves it.

the toda valvetrain is coming with the head, so im definately going to stick with that.

what size injectors should i go with? stock or 270cc?

No they aren't.

Do you even KNOW the fuel demands of a 1.8 liter engine with 11.5~:1 compression, and BIG cams?

310cc's is perfectly fine.

Hell, I run 370cc's on a similar setup.

The best thing is to ask someone who is currently running that injector size or even larger on a similar setup. On a forum like this you will get lots of answers from people who have never ran what you are planning to run--they have only heard some information--the problem is--it might be right and it might be wrong. Listen to the guys who have actually done it.

that only applies when putting itr or ctr pistons on ls/b16/b17 rods

p30's fit directly onto ls rods...shotpeen the ls rods and use arp rod bolts and your good...thats what im running in my setup.

I've never had an idle issue...

Nor do I run iridiums...

Unless of course you aren't talking to me.

EDIT: Ahhh, you read the first post in my build thread? Yes, the idle was resolved in tuning.

And I ditched the iridiums. Standard NGK BKR7E's for me.

Don't get pissed its H-T. I have the ITR's on ls rods and they needed machining, I thought it would be the same for all dohc vtec pistons.

I've tried the 8's, yes. Negligible effects over the 7's.

And yes, I've tried every gap imaginable under the sun.
