am pretty confused with my clutch pedal i adjusted it so it can closer to the floor but it looks like by me tighting the clutch cable what i did is make the clutch higher and not closer to the floor of the car so to make it closer to the floor is it making it tighter or loosing it

 

If u tightened the adjusting nut and the result was opposite from what u wanted (brought the clutch engagement higher on the pedal), one would think to try and loosen the nut right?

 

not sure of what you are saying but if you want the clutch to engage closer to the floor loosen it , if you tighten it it will make the clutch engagement farther from the floor
