SRS light on.....yes, I searched :)
Okay. so all of my lights went out on my climate control the other day so I decided to do the amber controls while I had the thing out. Somehow when I took the radio out, I rubbed some of the wires the wrong way or something happened and I blew my back-up fuse. No big deal. so I dont have any fuses, so I grab one of the spares from under the dash and plug it in. Good to go! no....I accidentally pulled the SRS fuse and not a spare. so i'm like cool, I know why the SRS light is on. I swap out the fuses, put the SRS fuse back in, but my light is still on. it was not on before I pulled the fuse. Will it go off with so many key-on-cycles or something? i've had cars like that before....but I dont really want to take it to the dealer if it's something simple, because isnt it true that autozone and places like that cannot read SRS codes?
Thanks in advance,
Mitch

i can't remeber if this is how to do it or not, but i would try disconnecting the neg bat. cable for 10 sec. to try to clear it. it may not work but it's easy enough to try.
You need to manually reset it. Get yourself a paper clip and bend it into a "U"
Find the SRS service connector in your under-dash fusebox, and find a friend.
1) turn ignition switch off
2) jump the SRS connector
3) turn igition switch to on (don't start car)
4) The SRS indicator light will come on for about 6 seconds, and then go off. Remove the SCS service connector from the MES connector within 4 seconds after the light comes on
5) The SRS indicator will come on again. Reconnect the SCS service conector(or in ghetto world of honda, paperclip) to the MES connector : the yellow connector, within 4 seconds after the light comes on.
6) When the SRS indicator light goes off, remove the SCS service connector from the MES connector within 4 seconds.
7) The SRS indicator light will blink 2 times indicating that the memory has been errased/clear.
8) turn the ignition switch to off and wait for 10 seconds.
Wee.
