Default ls/vtec swap no spark HELP!!!

Ok so ive got a 89 si with a ls/v that I had just swapped in.
So I have converted over to obd1 with a jumper and a p28
ecu.

So the car isn't starting up so ive narrowed it down to no spark.

So I figure it could be a
-ecu
-coil
-ignition module
-distributor it self
-cap
-rotor
-wireset

So what I have done is replace the dist with a new one
and new cap, rotor, wireset, and plugs.

Well im still not getting spark. Now when this engine was pulled
with this ecu and distr everything worked fine. So either there's
a chance that something broke in the process for some reason
or I have some how messed up the wiring.

So some input would be great.

And just to clarify can a engine fire up with a faulty ecu?

First of all is the MPFI wiring harness done right? Did you get the 1 wire o2 sensor wired up for 4 wire o2. It's possible that the distributer plugs may not have been wired up correctly. The way to check your main relay is turn the key to the on position and you should be able to here a click right away, if you do not here a click then replace the main relay. If you have any further questions feel free and email me http://www.monotech@verizon.net

Peace!

What would the terminals have do with the engine not getting spark,
the engine cranks over, the fuel is probably flooding the combustion
chamber. But anyways the cars an si so there is no problem with the
MPFI wiring since it's already an Si.

The wiring for the distributor has been looked over, the fuses are
fine, and the main relay has nothing to do with spark, its more for
fuel.

And if im using the jumper for the obd1, then i'd be using the 4 wire
o2 and again the o2 has nothing with me getting no spark, but that
has nothing to do with the spark problem.

All these problems are things has nothing to do with what I need,
does anybody on here know anything?

Are you using the si motor harness or the ls harness?

anybody have any ideas?

Is there anything that I have missed? What else is a link in the ignition system?

The battery has juice, (obviously the motor is cranking)
The ecu came out of a working car and even tried with original ecu.
The coil is getting the 12 volts,
The dist has been replaced which came with the coil and all the goodies
New cap, rotor, wires, plugs

WHY AM I NOT GETTING SPARK? help please

When I did the zc swap I had to move the ignition output signal wire from the passenger side shock tower plug to the drivers side shock tower plug. Just look at the point where the motor harness hooks up to the chassis harness. Make sure that all the colors go together. And double check the wiring from the distributor.
I hope this helps.

I had this problem aswell...
When you turn the key do you hear the fuel pump priming?
If not (its kinda loud).. then check your main relay.. if it hasnt been fixed... then its broken
or just make sure its plugged in.. takes 5 seconds.

no wasn't any of that.

See I figured to buy the jumper cable to not have to go through the hassle of messing
with all the repining. Well turns out one wire was in the wrong place, switched them over and the baby fired right up. Sounds so nice. I cant wait to finish everything up.

on the dizzy plug there are two white wires make sure those are ok! and if not id check if you took the wires from c1 and c2 and put them to b10 and b12 and you ran the two extra wires for c1 and c2 and they also hook up to the dizzy!

well thats how I had those hooked up. The two white wires. One going to a white wire and the other going to a yellow/grn wire. And that didnt work. Then on another stock plug I had found a yellow/grn wire and found continuity, switched that around and bam problem solved.
