Default has anyone tried that "detailed d17 build for 305 whp" FAQ

I am honestly considering building my engine like that I have actually done some reasearch into it and im about to order the service manual off honda accessories. Has anyone attempted that build? If I follow it correctly will I run into any bumps in the road , just what is your overall opinion about it. I have tried to message the guy a few times but he doesn't seem to respond

I'm not going to spend $15k for just 305whp, no offense. I'd rather spend $8k for 300whp N/A.

I wouldnt try and follow supermex's way. alot of custom work went into his so trying to follow it exactly is gonna be hard. there are other ways to go and make the same power if not more.

welcome to the world of Kseries.

Give it a couple years, the prices will drop.

Just think, once the RSX is gone, there will be a lot more K24's ( with the intro of the TSX coupe) plus the k20 will still be in the Civic Si Coupe, and there will also be the NEW civic Si sedan.

Then there is still the Element/CRV/Accord with k24's.

Old k20a3's will be like cheaper than cheap in a few years, once people start crashing them, and bam the B series will be obsolete.

He's mentioned how much he's spent. He's getting close to $20k. It's not a cheap game, the 300+whp D17.
