Default Peeling window frame trim?

The window frame on my 5th gen Prelude is oxidizing and I can see the bare aluminum in some parts. Looks like its flaking off, the previous owner said it was like that too when he bought it. Looks like crap to me and I want to fix it.

Anyone have a cheap/easy fix for this problem?

take a quick photo so to better understand what the hell your talking about!! if its corrosion then take some scotch-brite pads and scrub them it works ok, better would be to shell blast, ground up walnut (or other hard) nut shells under pressure, like sand blasting but with wood/shells...

The problem you've described happens to every 5th gen. YOu can either scrape the rest of it off and repaint it, or just buy replacement pieces from honda which run about $40 dollars for each side.

My 4th gen had that on the bottom part of the back window. There is a trim piece that I bought and replaced in about 1 hour.
