Default Axle problems

so yea everytime i make a sharp turn like when the wheel is all the way cut or close to all the way their is a popping noise coming from what people have told me to be the axle

Is there some way to fix it or do i need a new axle

I want to temp. fix it b/c in like 2 months im swapping the engine and comes with axles, am i gonna hurt it or anything else even if i drive easy on it????

hum...im taking a guess, maybe the boot is torn and all the grease leaked out...its prob not lubed up....check if thats the prob...

if anything take it out and have it rebuilt...i know here there is a shop that does it for 20-30 bucks takes them a few hours..or buy a new one ..you don't want that **** to really F#$K up and put you in a bad situation

yea....but thats if your sure its an axle problem...

If there's no grinding and the wheel doesn't shake when driving straight it should last you 2 months...4sho...just make sure there's grease in the boots--and not watery grease, I've found that in mine a few times!!

i second that, on the " you dont want it to get you in a bad situation", happend to me, fawkin people who did my clutch job damaged both "brand new" axle that was 6 months old. They damaged it by, after pulling out both axles out the tranny, they left it hanging on the front lca. after everything was put together. went out on a spin. driver side Popped out. and clunk, clunk, clunk,clunk all the way home, spent christmas/holiday weekend fixing that side. and now passenger side making noises, and the lower ball joint on driver side is busted. so much for the holiday weekend.

so yea i snapped my cv joint yesterday night making a u turn...

not fun at 11.30 at night...but yea i fixed it today...ran me 60 bux and 2 hrs of my time...not bad
