crx si question
This may sound like a stupid question. What are the differences between a 90 model HF and Si. Would it be hard to make a HF a Si because some one might give me a Si motor. Could someone clear this up For me Thanks.
like the guy says, they're both mpfi so the engines will interchanged no problem, and the si ecu will plug in no problem..
as far as differences there are some, like the si has a sunroof, bigger front hubs, stronger larger axles, shorter geared tranny, sunroof, rear interior compartment,black/grey interior instead of blue?,nicer seats imo, alloy wheels, the 90-91 si has disc brake in the rear,etc,etc,etc.....
hf has a better turning ratio though, lighter weight, both models have factory lips,hf has a factory shiftlight,
Theres's some more differences.

the hf also had a smaller gastank, and i think it didnt have a rear swaybar and it also had a smaller front swaybar if i remember correctly. no rear wiper also on the hf

dx has 2 injectors vs. the hf/si 4 injectors..so you'll have to convert the dx to multi point fuel injection, there's a great writeup here. http://fourthgenhatch.net
