Default 93 vtec motor running like ****

I have a 89 civic, swaped the motor to a 93 vtec .if any one can tell me what this may cause this proble post it or email me at enjoiskater262@hotmail.com. When truning the car on the idle gose right up to 3000 rmps then drops to 2000and keeps going up and down fo a bit till it warms up,when its warm the motor will drop too 1000 rmps and revs up to 2000 again. Its got cold air intake, header, high flow cat, high performance chip and aftermaket ecu.I dont really no if any of that would affect it but its pissing me off!

I have checked the hoses and they seem to be good.

might have left a nipple open underneath the intake mani. or somewhere. thats for sure a vacuum problem.

when you do a 92-95 d16z6 swap in a EF you need to get a jumper harness and run a p28 ecu with original OBD-1 distributer and wire up the 1 wire o2 sensor to 4 wire o2. Then wire up v-tec! I do the DPFI to MPFI harness conversion with converting the harness to make this type of set up work. Then all you need to do is purchase a jumper harness and your set to go. If you have any questions direct them to me at http://www.monotech@verizon.net

Peace!

what kinda ecu? aem? well first off try another ecu a stock one, it might throw some cels but it would rule out a bad chip or ecu. better yet cut the j1. other than that id check for vacuum leaks
