Default Aussie ITR (or other teg) owners ... what tyres?

Ok everyone here seems to rave about Falken Azenis because of their stunning price and performance ... unfortunately I dont think they are a regular line here in Oz (and if I can find them I think they'll be $$$).
What tyres are the Aussies on this board using (and how much are they)?
I've been looking at several brands and have been recommended Yokohama A539 (for $181 each - 205/50 15") by several places. I'm at a loss as almost every store has a different idea ... there are so many to choose from and before any of you yanks reply ... I dont think we get the same model tyres as you do.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks Integra Rated R ... but not to be rude but if you read my post carefully you'll note that I mention we don't have the same line of tyres that you do in the states.
I'm really after what the Aussie guys are using ... and this doesnt necessarily apply to what tyres you guys have in the states (as I've found we have different models here)
(I notice that a lot here ... you guys seems to jump to a quick answer without reading the request carefully)
Thanks for the reply anyway
Mike

Mike everyone rubbishes the A539 but this is what I am using and have found them to be really really good. For Drag great traction much better than the Falkens (not Azenis) that I had on my Civic VtiR and for cornering minimal side wall flex etc - so I for one for the ITR at least would reccomend the Smokohama A539

A few of my mates have used Azenis and didn't like them... The tread looks nice though! But when I get new tires for my car I'd get Dunlop FM901s. AFAIK cheaper than Azenis and perform better

for street tyres go for DUNLOP FM901 or Bridgestone RE711 ( am using them and I like them more than the Yoky)
if you are looking for semi slicks go for Bridgestone RE540S or Dunlop D01J, they are the best, nothing can beats those tyres I can guarantee you.

The quote I got 2 days ago for the Azenis Real Sports was $195/tyre. (205/50/15). Cheap. You can get it from just about any tyre mart.

I'm on RE711, they seem to last forever compared to the factory RE010! The steering respone for normal driving seems a little lazy but maybe that's because I'm using a 205/50/15. But performance is pretty darn great, especially in the wet. Worked great on the track until it overheated. hehe.

I'm assuming you're after performance street tyres. I would've said to give the S-03 a try but they aren't available here yet for < 17" sizes. Unforunately there isn't a wide selection of performance tyres for 15" sizes.

Here's the rundown. Dunlop Formula FM901 or BFGoodrich Profiler-G or Bridgestone Potenza RE711. Cheers!
