Quick coolant question
its freezing her in canada, after dropping off my gf to work i popped the hood of my car and got a little smell of coolant, its gone now,but just wanted to know if thats normal or should i smell no coolant at all?>
As the coolant expands it fills the overflow recovery bottle. It gets sucked back in as it cools off again. Maybe that's what you smelled? Is the level within the normal range? Or could be just normal stuff on a newer vehicle gassing off when it gets warm.

if your coolant is blue..... yes, you can add orange or green coolant.
if your coolant is orange, you can only add orange.
if your coolant is green, you can only add green.
