Default typer block

this guy is selling me an american typer block for 250 but he told me the sleeve has a crack on it but the block is complete with everything, u think is woth buyin it and getting fix ? and like how much it will be to get it fix, keep it mind i havent seen it and idk if it needs something else. ok thnks guys

wtf are they teaching kids in school these days.

and to the OP, if YOU havent even seen it, how would you expect us to tell you what to do. you obviously dont have enough information from the seller so you shouldnt even be considering it. use your head.

ok i saw the block and it has a big crack in the cylinderwall for piston number 3. but the crank and piston and rods still good. now i have a b16a2 in my car right now. other than boring it out to a 1.8 wat else i gotta do to put the crank, piston , and rod of the type r to my b16 block? the decktop is different right?

the rods and pistons wont work in your b16. you'll need custom rods and pistons if you want to use an itr crank.

Not to sound unwelcoming, but you may have better luck with your specific questions in the Hybrid forum, if you haven't already. Most people here aren't trying to put an ITR crank in a B16. Good luck
