yeah, an easy out is the way to go.
Its like a reverse threaded screw driver. You need to drill out the centre of the bolt, then the easy out is put it and and you turn it it pulls into the bolt and turns it counter-clockwise (lefty-loosey).
so you know what you are looking for

mine was $10 for a set of 5 different sizes from home-depot. Worth the money, you'll break bolts all the time if you're car is even a little old or experiences winter road conditions occasionally.
