hey so tonight i noticed that when im idling, my rpm jumps up from like 750-1250 and back down like continuisly, what could be the problem. could it be because i just cleaned out my egr ports and my ecu is like adjusting to it?
I actually think that is normal... haha... is your A/C on? that might be why too... usually at idle i have notice it starts out at like 1500+ then drops down... then the fans engage and it shoots back up.... then the fans stop.. and it drops back down.. its probably because you got the A/C goin or something..
I just cleaned my EGR too.. tonight... Man.. it was a pain takin that intake manifold off.. Did you take urs off?? Mine was caked with so much crap its not even funny.. took a drill to it... haha... lots of brake cleaner(great stuff) but now I'm getting some crazy problem tho electricly.. when i drive and accelerate it boggs down like its losing power.. my HUD just goes blank.. my gauges flip up and down... crazy stuff.. maybe i just put some wires back wrong... ill figure it out in the moring...

Yes, look at the idle air control valve, throttle position sensor, MAP sensor, air and vacuum leak (bad gasket, hose off).
You might want to do a SEARCH on the subject -- it has been covered.

One of the first things I would have done. Sometimes cleaning it might not help and you might need to buy a new one. Hows the coolant level? Sometimes that can cause a fluctuating tach.

alright well here's wut i did with the iacv, i took it off the manifold and flushed it out with mass air flow cleaners cuz that's what kragen said. it felt a lil better but the idle still jumps like 500 rpms. what else can i clean

Try the same thing with the FITV - that's the valve under the throttlebody. Look around here for a how-to post about opening that up & tightening something inside.
Then get rid of any air pockets in your cooling system.
Then look for vacuum leaks. (maybe you already did this??)
