Default Tips on how to mount 99-00 CTR Rear lip??????????????

I just purchased a CTR rear lip for my hatch and noticed that holes need to be drilled in the bumper to mount it. Has anyone done this, and could possibly give me some tips on how to go about located where I need to drill the holes so I don’t mess up the bumper. Or let me know where to find the info I need. I would be greatly appreciated....

If you bought a real CTR lip, you wouldn't need to drill anything.

Where'd you buy your knockoff.

As far as i know its a real CTR. The places it mounts at are towards the middle of the lip, not the bottom like on the front lip...

Take some ink, and rub it around the metal grommets. Then press it onto the bumper, and drill where the marks are

I think taking your bumper off your car would help.

This is a good idea. I took my bumper off and put lip to the bumper and closely matched holes to bumper. Otherwise you'll need to get a ctr rear bumper.
