Currently i have a 91 hatch with a dohc zc. the motor is making some bottom end noise. i believe the rod bearings. I can get a d16z6 with a tranny and some other parts w/ 140k on it for $300. Should i pull the zc apart and fix it or go with the sohc vtec

 

i would go with the single vtec but it might cost a little more cause you gota go obd1 and all that but you can sell the hydro tranny.

 

cant i convert the motor to obd0 if i use an obd0 intake mani and then get an rpm switch for the vtec
