We had been trying to get a Ralleye Red Si with Nav for my wife since August of '06, and finally our Honda rep was able to special order us one that was not part of our dealership's allocation. When it hit ground at our dealership, I immediately noticed it had darker wheels versus the '06. The only thing we were schooled on as salesmen was the fact the '07's had VSA. I checked my little '07 car fact book for Honda salesman, and it stated 'darker wheel paint on '07 models'. I am glad we had to wait...the darker (closer to gunmetal) paint on the wheels looks great! We just got a white Si in, and the darker wheels look awesome. I started a thread because I haven't heard this mentioned.

I knew that a while before the 07's came out most people did they look a little better then the 06 wheels !

you know i've seen a couple of 07 si's and their wheels look exactly the same as the 06's in color??

 

my 07 si sedan has the darker color wheels and it looks awesome against the taffeta white

 

see thats weird because i was staring at a 4dr si...and the wheels were the same color? on the honda site they look the same, and at jenkins and wynn their floor model was the same?

 

They arent drastically different but enough to be noticeable(to most people anyway). Any 07+ Si has the darker finish wheels

 

hhmm maybe i just need to get closer then, i was looking at them from the road

 

I bought a pair of 06 wheels for my wifes ex sedan,and i just purchased the 07 si sedan in black,definitly a diference in wheel color,when my 19s come in im gonna put the 07s on my wifes car,they will look better on the white car.
