Default 96-98 and 99-00 headlights

car is in the shop right now..i have a 00 hatch

in order for the shop to start fixing my car i need a 99-00 passenger side headlight..but im wondering if 96-98 headlights and the 99-00 headlights are the same.

if not then i need a 99-00 passengerside headlight.

so basically my question is if the 96-98 and 99-00 headlights are interchangeable

No they are not. Just look at the headlights, they have completely different shapes.

Back part? You mean the gray plastic, and not the lens? Yeah, that's different too. Just buy the correct headlight for your car. It's not that hard to understand.

you can interchange the headlights just as long as you are also replacing the fenders, hood, and front bumper/grille

without swapping those parts, 96-98 lights won't fit on 99-00 and vice versa
