Default ecu isse

I put a paper clip the code checker to read the codes and i got nothing.... and why does the obd0 si ecu have a flashing red lite

I believe with the obd0's when you jumper the harness the light on the ecu lights up to tell you the code, then check in faq's for the code to tell you what system is failing.

Uhm...for the OBD0 ECUs all you need to do is pull the carpet back and look at the blinking light in the center of the ECU...count the blinks and thats the code...short blinks = 1 long blinks = 10

on the OBD0 cars you read the codes directly from the ECU by looking at the flashing red LED - you don't need to jumper anything - if it has more than one code, the ECU will flash a number of times for the first code, pause and flash a number of times for the 2nd code, pause, etc. - it will keep repeating the codes until you reset the ECU
