Default Best Sounding Exhaust?

I am in a bind as to what exhaust to get. I am deciding either Greddy Evo2 or a Skunk2. I heard the Skunk2 is very loud. Is there any sound clips of these exhaust. I want a lower pitched sound. Nothing irritates me more then a bee sounding import. (normally with cars with universal mufflers) I want to stear clear of that sound, but I want it to be loud enough people hear me. Also, which exhaust gives the best power.

Stick with stock, you only get like 3HP from an aftermarket exhaust, plus the droning gets old quick. The only exhaust I'd ever get would be Mugen if they ever decided to realease one for the coupe. I had the twin loop on my 99 Si and it was fantastic -- very slight power increase but sound was amazing!

I guess if you have to get something right now, go with Comptech.

I had the same feeling as you did, wanted a better exhaust note, but not the chainsaw sound..... EVO2 is nice, deep, and only roars when you peak on up into VTEC.

I was thinking of getting the evo2 I heard some people were getting pulled over a lot with the skunk2. Anyway does anyone know if the evo2 is 50 state legal?

Nothing I have heard sounds better than the stock exhaust. I hate the fart, pop, etc noises that are always associated with 4cyl. So I'll be sitting on the stocker for a long time.
