Default 205 tire on 7.5" wheel?

Will a 205 tire work on a 7.5" wide wheel? Will it look normal or will it be all stretched and distorted. Any info or advice would be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Hell no. That will look horrible.

I have 215 tire on 7" wide wheel. You need 225 tire for a 7.5" wheel.

Not enough information to answer. It depends on the diameter of the wheel, the size of the tire, and the type (brand and model) of the tire. That width is perfect for some wheels/tires, will look stretched on others.

Yes the wheel is 17x7.5 and the tire is 205/40/17, Yokohama Parada's.

Yokohama approves that size of its Parada Spec2 tires for rims 7.0-8.0 inches wide. On 17x7.5, it should look perfect! Of course, it will still perform like crap. Get tires that perform better (like the Kumho Ecsta SPT, Yokohama ES100, etc)...

(Note - Yokohama is phasing out the Parada Spec2, probably because their performance is so much worse than their own, similarly-priced ES100.)

EDIT: Added three sentences after the original two. (Thanks, HondaF1Fanatic!)

The baby Jesus cries when someone runs Parada Spec2 tires, how about some Kumho Ecsta SPTs so you can save money and get a better tire?!?!? I would've thought you would've set this young man on the right path already nsxtasy.

haha, thanks for the help guys. I **** canned the Parada Spec2's and picked up a set of Yokohama a520's. They look to be a much better tire.
BTW how long does this h-t trial user period last for?

What about a 205/50/15 Azenis on a 15x7.5 Rota Slipstream? Falkens website says it will work but do you think it will look streched?

it will look fine because the falkens run wider than most tires... just make sure the offset on the wheel is right so it doesn't rub any where

It's not. The A520 is another crappy tire.

Yokohama makes a very good budget performance tire, the ES100. The Kumho Ecsta SPT is another excellent tire in this category.

Although 15x7 works better for the 205/50-15 Azenis.

Most other 205/50-15 tires work best on 15x6.5 and still pretty well on 15x6.
