i was just wandering if a tps from a y7 would work on a y8 throttle body. i'm building a motor and a have a spare y7 tps sitting around and i'm tryin to save some cash.

 

I know the throttle bodies are pretty similar, although the manifolds are not. My guess is that it should fit. I'm not certain, just using logic. Since you have it sitting around, and its a pretty straightforward swap, calibration aside...go outside and give it a shot. I believe if its "incorrect", it should throw a CEL. So if you have no codes, and your idle isn't fluctuating horribly...i'd say you're good to go.

Just about all Hoda tps sensors are the same and will bolt up using good ole honda 10 mm bolts I think anyways make sure and calibrate it as the other guys said!
