Classic plates?
HAHA I thought about this the other day. The only downside is you not supposed to drive it everyday. Classic tags are meant for the special occasion vehicles. Either way I hight doubt cops would care and it would be very funny to see classic tags on a civic.

I believe it's 25 years to be exempt from smog. I believe that's what it is in TX.
I still have to get my '83 Civic tested every year. Hopefully that'll end soon, because it always has a hard time passing!

Some states give out classic/antique plates at 15 years? Got to be in the rust belt. Down here in the deep south where cars rust more slowly and every other person drives a beat old clunker it's 25 years for classic/antique plates. My CRX just became legal (18) so I've still got seven years til I can get classic/antique plates

According to the information just provided, the only kids who look like they are getting classic plates are the NSX crowd and the ITR crowd

I would do it and I'm located in PA, but my hatch isn't anywhere near clean enough to put classic plates on it.
CWBETB, you on the other hand your hatch is clean as ****.........always.

Yea maybe when i finish the restore my car might qualify but it seems like it isn't going to be easy...I think possibly the CRX owners could pull it off but think other EF civics aren't going to have a chance for a little while still, according to what i read it said 10 years for Classic and 25 for Antique...
Once the body work is completed on my 90 I think i'll try it and see if it is accepted or not...anyone know all the benefits of the classi plates, I assume cheaper insurance, no inspection or emissions? also only driven 1 day a week isn't that bad at all, thats all i drive my CRX now anyways.
How funny would it be to see a CRX at the Drag strip with a classic plate on it
