i mean, yea that's probably the safest best. but i don't really feel like spending the money to do that. i've read around on camshaft sites and most of them say that you're safe with stage 1, with stock internals.

but even still, which company would you suggest?

stg 1 will be fine with a stage 1 cam

and with out proper durational need and lift why would you want a quicker closing valve other then to lose potential of the cam stage 2 plus is when springs and all that crap might come into play

i'm not sure what you're trying to say. i don't want a quicker closing valve, that's why i want stage 1. take crower for example. stage 2 has a shorter exhaust duration but higher lift, hence the need for springs and valve replacement.

"advertised duration"

stock h22
Int- 288 mid
Exh-308 mid

crower stage 1
Int- 307 mid
Exh-318 mid

crower stage 2
Int- 308 mid
Exh-309 mid

but either way, i'm just looking for a good stage 1 name brand.
