I got gc coilovers and illuminas. I am about 2.25 incehs dropped, or so. Looking at getting a set of 16's. Will I have problems rubbing or the top of my wheels well bottom out on the tires on a bump with that drop and that size rim?

i'm at about a 2.25 inch drop too and my wheel wells definately hit on some bumps. every now and then when i make slow sharp turns as well.

 

thats what i figured....i think i might stick with 15's

You can get your fenders rolled.

 

Most people with 16's and 205/45/16 tires and a 2"+ drop will rub. Weird though, some people say they do, and others say they dont.

I have a 2", and 16's with 205/50/16 and I rub when the wheel is all the way turned, or partly turned going over bumps.

Lowering your car around my area FTL!!! There are huge pot holes everywhere and speed bumps for everything thanks to the large senior population.

 

senior as in old people correct? I dont think they did that bro, i live in Zephyrhills florida, aka retirement city. We have 60k winter residents and 15k summer(yearrounders)... Our streets are alright, i think its PA ! lol jk...
