PERFORMANCE GAIN BETWEEN OPEN HEADER AND STOCK EXHAUST
how much gain is expected on running open header vs stock itr exhaust? i wanna get the best time out of stock drivetrain and dont know which way to go anyone have an answer
Lets see if Asscoin will tell us his numbers, he did stock exhaust vs open header.
If I recall correctly it was +20hp and +6tq. But it's not that fair, he had Spec B cams on a all stock motor.

Rofl, just like honda-tech to go from one side of the retard spectrum to another.
Why don't you just go to the track, make a pass with the exhaust on, then take it off and make another pass after you do? Then you can let US know if there is any gains.

He won't cuz He's scared he'll damage his motor...

i have ran open header when i was going to get a test pipe fabricated it didnt have the best throttle response but it seemed like an animal at high rpms too but i was wondering if ne one has actually tried it at the track or dyno tested it

That sounds about right. But Jesus on a stick it was loud. Even worse than Bbasso's car

Whatever gains you would net would be cancelled out by your loss in hearing. I had to drive my car to the muffler shop open header (test pipe needed to be modded), and it was stupid loud. The car kinda sounded like an....american car...or something

Maybe that's why he was yelling out the post title?
