Use a mallet, then. I can't think of any reason those two shouldn't work.

push the LCA up and down while you are under the car and have someone pulling the wheel back and foward from the outside untill it lines up...

ya i know,, i talked to some people and looked at it, they said the lca is normal just hard to put the bold back in place, one of those odd situations. What would cause a bent lca i might ask

I typically grab the control arm with a big assed pair of pliers (Channel locks) and twist the whole arm to get the bushings to line up. While the arms attached to the trailing arm, the trailing arm applies a "twist" to the arm. That's why you can't get the bushing holes to line up. That's why the screwdriver doesn't work either, you might get the bushing straight for a second then when you pull the driver back out it twists in place again.
From the back of the car, I grab the bottom edge of the arm and twist upwards with the channel locks. That shifts the front end of the bushing down to line up the hole.

some need an alignment to prevent premature tire wear because their tires aren't straight after they work on the suspension.

This guy has the same idea with more detail. follow his instructions and you should be fine.
