Default When turning car jerky and makes a grinding noise.

I had an engine swap done about 6 months ago, right now i have a JDM B18c with B16 LSD tranny.

Everytime i make a turn it seems like the axles are jumping in and out of its socket. So it makes my car jerky and also makes a grindy noise. The steering wheel studders back and forth while the car is turning.

I've replaced the axles with b18c swap axles, i've replaced all 4 ball joints. What could the problem be?

Bad engine mounts? the b16 trannys mid-axle not right for the b18c? or do i just need an alignment. i haven't had one since my first swap. but on the hiway at 120-140 km/hr the car is still smooth.

help please.

well im guessing the sound is coming from something near the axels.. perhaps check if everything is tight such as ur suspension maybe being loose or some type of bolt/nut thats needs a lil tightening

did you buy rebuilt axles from a reliable source? I'm wondering if your CV joints are blown.

the axles are brand new and this was happening before i put the new axles in...i was hoping it would fix the problem

do you guys think its the intermediate shaft? is there a difference between b18c ones and b16 ones?

I'm thinkin the same thing unless by some chance you just didn't get 'em in all the way but in that case I'd think that they'd pop COMPLETELY out. When the car is up on a jack, or on the ground for that matter, do you have any play in your axles?

Well if ur using older axles I have seen ppl swap the axles in the wrong side! Sounds funny but its true one axle is a lil bit longer than the other!

wheel bearings seemed fine, the grinding noise isn't a wheel bearing grinding noise
