Default 2000 Si Stolen!- San Diego

For anybody in the 92102 area code, my buddy had his '00 Si stolen yesterday (1/9) around 10pm. CA tag 4YYM036. This is the third or fourth time thieves have targeted his car, and apparently they've gotten smarter with how to make off with it. Any information, drop me an email at the addy on my profile page.

Thanks!

its a comp. chip that is install in you car...i dont know where at but. it come with a code... that you have when ur car gets stolen. all you do is call the cops and tell them you have lowjack and there ask for the code.and they will track you car...even if there is no power to it... but this is 2007 and not everything is 100%.
put you will get the car back

I've seen lo jack go for 500 and under. I don't know if that's only when you get it for a new car at the dealer

I got mine about 2 years ago for about 800 installed. Lo-jack comes anywhere to install it. I had them come to my work. I wish I had it on my first EM1

The older lo-jack ain't squat. You need the one with the early warning system. It has a transponder that on your key chain and if the car is moved with out it it automaticly calls your home or cell phone withen 5 to 10 min. A operator will ask you if know that your car has been moved without your permission. If you say no they will instanly track the car. I strongly urge people to get this with a alarm system

Good luck man. My fbp si was stolen from my work in broad daylight two days ago! I only owned it for 3 days too...

The 99-00 em1 si is becoming super rare due to theft. I traveled over 400 miles to Oklahoma just to pick it up....It was bone stock and from the original owner

what kinda secuirty, i dunno.. i see thread after thread of cars getting stolen and each one i ask what type of secyuirty do you have. 99% of the time is a alarm at best. There's a reason we threads like this, weak alarm installs, 1 min or less break ins.

my car was broken into twice, each time they left empty handed, i sleep well at night.

i can break into a honda with an alarm in under 40 second with no help, start it in a minute and 20 seconds at worst. I've proved many of ricers wrong when they floss a l.e.d alarm and i make $20 with a i told you so

shrug, learn.

what type of alarm or security devise are you using to stop thieves??? i think we would all like to know??? lo jack is not great as long as the cops get off there *** and track it and find it... but most times it is not a priority to them... most of the time lo jack is installed it the head liner...
