Honda put vtec to engage where it's at for a reason, why do you want to change it?

It cant damage your engine unless you have it setup/tuned improperly. Other then that, they're all good.

unless you have mods that require vtec to be changed, it's useless.

controller.....has two though. Its not a control or a controll, its a vtec controller....because it is the master of the vtec.

Dom: You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?
Extra: You Tell him Dominic. Get out of here
Dom: Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block... and replace the piston rings you fried.
[closes bonnet of car]
Dom: Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.
[Crowd cheers in agreement]

I'm sorry it has nothing to do with the thread, but I just had to.

Anyways, it depends on your mods. If you have the specific mods that would call for a change in the vtec engagement setting, well then yeah, but do it while you're tuning. Not just driving around thinking whats right.

Vtec is controller is useless for your car with just an intake. if you had a fully built motor then it would help maybe.
