engine help?

Default engine help?

Just finished putting my b16. my Q is the engine keep reving by itself. up and down. any ideas?

someone told me that there is air in the radiator hose? comments drag?

I doubt that would have anything to do with it.

if it makes you feel better, squeze out all the air from the upper rad hose.

recheck all vac connections.

check engine light on?

If there is air in the cooling system the coolant temp sensor can not do it's job. It wants to see a warm temp in the coolant to drop the idle. If air passes over the sensor it reads cool and confuses the ECU. As soon as it reads the hot coolant it lowers revs. That's why it fluctuates. Make sure to bleed and properly fill the coolant system. This will cure your woes no doubt.
