hey out there can anyone tell me wat the difference from these two valve covers are? wat i mean is wat car or motor did they originally belong to? thanks

One is yellow one is not.

From a B series VTEC engine. B16A, B18C, I don't know. I think they're the same.

one of my buddies told me that the one with the big VTEC might be from a Type R but im not sure, thas wat im tryin to find out.

big Dohc little Vtec honda motor co.=usdm

all b series vtec are interchangable

correct me if im wrong

Big "DOHC" means it's an early engine (ie JDM OBD0 B16A) or first gen and small "DOHC" means it's a later engine (ie B18C, etc.) or second gen if I remember correctly.

yep small "VTEC" was the earlier gen obd0 and the bigger VTEC is the A2 i wanna say..

Why does everybody spell "what" like "wat" nowadays? I mean come on, it's one freaking letter .

Anyways, yes the larger DOHC is from an older VTEC motor.

always thought this was correct.

notice the black cover also has "honda motor co." and not just "honda" meaning its a usdm vc.
my '97 integra had the big dohc and little vtec valve cover straight from the factory and it said "honda motor co." ...

thats not correct.

1st gen JDM B16a and it has big DOHC, small vtec, and Honda motor co.

i stand corrected then about that then.
but my obd2 usdm gsr motor had the same valve cover as that obd0 b16.
